At Noun, we partnered with Slay, a bold and genre-defying fashion brand, to craft a visual identity that’s unapologetic, powerful, and future-forward. Built for the streetwear tribe that thrives on fluidity, cosmic energy, and fearless individuality, Slay is more than just a brand—it’s a rebellion dressed in sculptural silhouettes and untamed self-expression. Our goal was to translate this energy into a distinct brand language—where every element becomes a symbol of movement, confidence, and the refusal to conform.

LOGO & TYPOGRAPHY Each letter in SLAY was purposefully designed to reflect strength and defiance: S features an elongated lower curve, hinting at fluid movement and bold attitude. L flips the standard form for a rule-breaking, edgy stance. A carries an exaggerated weight, symbolizing structural confidence and inner power. Y stands wide, grounded and expansive—representing freedom and unapologetic expression. The clean sans-serif wordmark is underlined deliberately—like a baseline of power. The spacing allows each letter to breathe, suggesting clarity and control amidst fearless design choices. MASCOT – THE GLOW PANTHER We introduced the Glow Panther as Slay’s spirit animal—a sleek embodiment of stealth, grace, and controlled power. Unlike louder mascots, the panther’s quiet confidence mirrors the brand’s core: “You don’t need to roar when you move with purpose.” This mascot wasn’t just aesthetic. It became the face of a new tribe—independent, gender-fluid, resistance-minded individuals who glow on their own terms. NAMING SYSTEM & HASHTAGS To extend the brand’s language, we created “SLAZE” — a fusion of “Slay” and “Blaze.” It sounds futuristic, fierce, and instantly memorable, allowing for phrases like: Unleash SLAZE Glow in SLAZE mode #SLAZE These extensions help Slay grow beyond clothing into a cultural identity.

With Slay, our goal was never just to design a brand. It was to spark a movement. From its cosmic-inspired ethos to its sharp visual assets, Slay champions those who dare to define themselves on their own terms. At Noun, we didn’t just build a brand—we built a visual rebellion.
